"HopeBags” is a freelance organization of bible believing non-denominational Christians called the “hope team” because we deliver the good news of the gospel into communities and hence, play a role in fulfilling the great commission.

Fulfilling the great commission does not have to be a daunting experience as some might think.

It can be as simple as passing out gospel bags (which we call hope bags) and hanging them on doorknobs throughout communities.

These bags contain sufficient information to potentially bring a person to conviction and salvation at a basic level.

The material is from the Gideons containing the Gospel of John.

The bags also contain a pamphlet with the plan of salvation and some wonderful scriptures to give further encouragement.

It is our hope, then, that these people who have received gospel bags would follow through and pursue discipleship in a bible-believing church.

This ministry is covered by much prayer before and after each outing of bag hanging, and therefore we feel confident to leave the results in God’s hands.

We believe by faith that good fruits will be produced sooner or later and feel this method is non-confrontational and that people can contemplate their destinies without pressure.

Literally thousands of bags have gone out throughout communities in Calgary, rural Alberta, Saskatchewan, Shuswap and Nanaimo.
