Pastor Barry Marsten

Barry Marsten
Lead Pastor

Barry has been a part of Cornerstone Church since 1987. He has served as our youth pastor, assistant pastor, and was the pioneer pastor of our Airdrie campus in 1992. He became the Lead Pastor of Cornerstone Church in 2008. He is happily married to Audrey, the love of his life. Together they have three amazing kids ~ Douglas, Robyn and Emily Dawn. His mandate is to Edify the Church, Teach God’s Word, and Lead Leaders. Barry loves family vacations, fly fishing, riding his motorcycle, Starbucks coffee and Nanaimo bars!

Pastor Brad Bristow

Assistant Pastor, Youth Pastor

Brad has been a part of Cornerstone Church since 1994 and has been a pastor since 2005. During that time he has served predominantly as a youth pastor to the congregation and currently serves as an assistant pastor. Brads passion is helping people begin, develop and grow their personal relationship with Jesus. Brad is married to his beautiful wife Yvonne and together they have an amazing son, Owen, and another little girl on the way! Brad is passionate about sports (both real and fantasy), music and having fun.

Pastor Jason Ward

Assistant Pastor, Worship Pastor

Jason has been a part of Cornerstone Church since 2007. He has served as our youth pastor at the Calgary Campus and currently pastors Worship and Life Together. He is happily married to Amber and they have two beautiful children, Joseph and Addison. Jason feels his call is to disciple, train and to teach God’s word. Jason is a big fan of Superheroes, cartoons, playing his guitar and spending time with his family.

Pastor Chris Schollaardt

Chris Schollaardt
Assistant Pastor, Children’s Pastor

Chris has been ministering as Children’s Pastor of Cornerstone Church for 5 years. She has been involved in teaching Sunday school since the age of 15. Chris worked as a pre-school teacher for Airdrie Christian Playschool for 15 years prior to being our Children’s Pastor. She is happily married to her best friend, Mr. Chris. God has blessed them with three amazing children, Jessica, William and Tiffany and the addition of a precious daughter in-law Jennifer. Chris believes her mandate is to reach children with the message of God’s deep love for them, and to bring them into a genuine relationship with Christ. Some simple joys of life for her are spending “face to face” time with family and friends, quilting, a good cup of coffee with chocolates!

Eve Roth

Eve has been part of Cornerstone Church since the beginning in1992 and has been involved in the Children’s Ministry, one of her passions, almost from the start. Since 2006 she has been one half of the Church’s Administration Team. She is happily married to Doug, her best friend, who never ceases to amaze her. They have 3 hard working young men, Rick, Joe and Tim, one amazing daughter-in-law Dalene and one mischievous golden retriever Cassie. Eve loves being together with family and friends, enjoys a good book and Starbucks and spends her spare time cooking and quilting.

Catarina Ricks

Catarina Ricks

Catarina has been a part of Cornerstone Church for about 16 years. She worked at Airdrie Koinonia Christian School, in various capacities, for 19 years. After retiring from AKCS, she started working as secretary at Cornerstone Church 2 days a week. She has been married to Garry for 43 years. They have 3 wonderful children, Laurie, Sherry and Michael, all with hard working, amazing spouses, and 6 delightful grandchildren. She loves spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends and enjoys knitting, crocheting, and doing puzzles.
