We believe that Missions is at the very heart of God. God loves people more than anything. Each one of us is called to be a missionary, responding to the great Co-Mission – “Go into all the world and make disciples”. At Cornerstone Church we are able to respond to the Great Commission locally and internationally. Here are some of the places we are making a difference.
Ron Bowen
Ron Bowen is a retired Foursquare Pastor who shows no signs of retirement. In fact, trying to keep up with Ron is a difficult task for anyone. Ron travels annually to Zambia, and is very involved in taking the gospel to remote parts of the country. He is actively involved in preaching the gospel, healing the sick, seeing the oppressed set free, supplying food and clothing to the poor, and establishing churches throughout the region. For more information or to donate directly to Ron, please contact him at 403-547-6060
Ubomi Obutsha Centre
Cornerstone Church has been very involved in supporting the Ubomi Obutsha Centre in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The center provides food, clothing, education and tons of love to the children of South Africa. A core group of supporters enable us to enjoy a long term relationship with the center. If you would like more information about how you can be involved in this ministry, please contact Rylee at petkaurylee@gmail.com.
Costa Rica
John and Debbie Overholt are our Canadian Missionaries to Costa Rica. John and Debbie moved to Costa Rica in 2005 and are delighted to host Canadian Short Term Missions teams.
